What a quaint little motel this is! The owners are both great folks and we chatted with Mark several times. Our room was decorated very nicely with a small town, western feel. The price was very affordable and we felt we got our money's worth. Christine and I were both very pleased with our stay and plan on coming back in the future.
Last night, checked in late. Left this morning early, thus no review of “service.” Great cowboy kitch in the crowded little room - everything necessary for an overnight with some unexpected bonuses. My big dog was welcome and comfortable in her traveling dog bed. I come to this area pretty often and will certainly visit the Lodge again.
Located downtown close to dining and drinking. Rooms are quaint. Hometown feel. Mark was very welcoming.
We have stayed here before and will stay here again if the occasion presents. These are clean, pleasant, comfortable rooms, and a great value. The owners, a couple, care very much for their guests. We always prefer family owned accommodations over hotel chains.
Stillwater lodge is by far the most accommodating and welcoming place I’ve ever stayed at. Mark (the owner) felt like family. We grilled out most nights and swapped stories with Mark. He is a wealth of knowledge on the towns history and just an all around good guy. The rooms were comfortable and clean. 10/10
My husband and I stayed at the Stillwater Lodge and had an amazing time. The town is peaceful and Mark made us feel like family. You don’t find many places like this and can’t wait to go back!
We stayed at the Stillwater in downtown Absarokee in September of 2023 and had a very pleasant stay. And they do have TV in the rooms, in case you want to catch up on news and pass the time until going back out into that beautiful MT countryside during the day. Motel is right down town next to a little cafe with a good ham & eggs breakfast. So we would definitely recommend the Stillwater lodge ! Don & Shirley, Houston, TX
I was so pleased with our rooms.. I loved how they were decorated and wish I could have stayed longer. You had the room stocked great.. it had the coffee pot, microwave, and fridge. Even a iorning board.. the little rubber ducky was cute too.. Thanks for making my visit for my granddaughters graduation a pleasant day
